Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to both the Still Good website (still-good.app) and the Still Good mobile application available on the Apple App Store. It explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.
Who we are (data controller)
Still Good is operated by Gosovych Volodymyr Viktorovych, a natural person residing in Озеряни, Тернопільська область, Ukraine. For the purposes of this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Gosovych Volodymyr Viktorovych as the data controller of still-good.app and the Still Good app. You can reach us at hello@still-good.app.
What data we collect — website
- Email address — when you join the waitlist.
- Theme and cookie preferences — stored locally on your device only.
- Analytics data — page views, device type, browser, and country, via Google Analytics 4, only with your consent.
What data we collect — mobile app
- Account data — email, name (if provided), and authentication identifier from Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, email/password, or magic link.
- Product data — items you add to track in the app (name, category, expiry date, photo if uploaded).
- Subscription data — purchase status and entitlement, processed by Apple and RevenueCat.
- Device information — device model, OS version, app version, language, and timezone.
- Push notification token — used to deliver expiry reminders.
- Usage analytics — anonymised events about feature use, via Google Analytics 4.
- AI inputs — when you use AI-powered features, the relevant text or image is sent to Anthropic for processing.
- IP address and request logs — temporarily logged on our server for security and abuse prevention.
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
- Consent — waitlist email, optional analytics, marketing communications.
- Contract — creating and managing your account, processing subscriptions, providing app functionality.
- Legitimate interest — security, fraud prevention, service improvement.
- Legal obligation — accounting and tax records related to subscription payments.
How we use your data
- To create and manage your account.
- To provide the core Still Good functionality (tracking products, sending expiry reminders).
- To process subscription purchases and manage entitlements.
- To send transactional emails (welcome, account, billing notifications).
- To send beta invitations and product updates (only with consent).
- To understand how the product is used and improve it (analytics, only with consent).
- To power AI features by sending relevant data to Anthropic.
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
How long we keep your data
- Waitlist email — until you unsubscribe or until the product fully launches.
- Account data — until you delete your account.
- Subscription records — retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).
- Analytics data — up to 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default).
- AI processing logs — handled per Anthropic's data retention policy.
- Server logs — up to 30 days.
Third-party services
We work with the following providers. Each processes data according to their own privacy policy and applicable data processing agreements:
- Apple — App Store distribution, Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases (StoreKit), push notifications (APNs) (apple.com/legal/privacy)
- Google — Google Sign-In and Google Analytics 4 (policies.google.com/privacy)
- RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlements (revenuecat.com/privacy)
- Anthropic — AI processing for in-app intelligent features (anthropic.com/legal/privacy)
- Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy)
- VPS hosting (EU) — our backend (PocketBase) runs on a private server hosted in the European Union.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
AI processing
The app uses Anthropic's Claude AI to power intelligent features. When you use such a feature, the relevant input (e.g. product name, image, or question) is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Per Anthropic's API terms, your inputs are not used to train Anthropic's models. Inputs may be temporarily retained by Anthropic for abuse detection in line with their data policy.
International data transfers
Some of our providers (Anthropic, Google, Apple, RevenueCat, Resend) process data outside the European Economic Area, primarily in the United States. These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Account deletion
You can delete your account directly from the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by emailing hello@still-good.app. Deletion removes your personal data within 30 days. Some records (e.g. subscription receipts) may be retained where required by law.
Children
Still Good is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Significant changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification.
