What this policy covers

This policy explains what still-good.app stores on your device, why, and how you can control it. We use browser local storage rather than traditional HTTP cookies, but the same principles apply — you have full control over anything beyond what is strictly necessary.

Necessary storage

The following items are stored automatically as part of basic site functionality. They do not require your consent and cannot be disabled without breaking the site:

• theme — remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode. Stored in localStorage on your device. Never sent to our servers.
• still_good_cookie_consent_v1 — remembers the choices you made in the cookie banner so we do not ask again on every page. Stored in localStorage on your device. Never sent to our servers.

Neither of these items identifies you personally or tracks your behaviour across sites.

Analytics storage

We use Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-6E2TVGXR5M) to understand how people use still-good.app — for example, which pages are visited, what device and browser type is used, and what country traffic comes from. This helps us improve the site and the product.

Analytics storage is only enabled if you explicitly allow it in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics data is collected — the Google Analytics script is loaded but kept in a fully denied consent state and records nothing. Data collected with your consent is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months by default.

Marketing storage

We do not currently use any marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes in the future, marketing storage will remain disabled by default and will only be activated if you explicitly allow it.

Third-party storage

We do not use any third-party widgets, embedded social media, or advertising networks that would set their own cookies without your knowledge. The only third-party service that may store data on your device is Google Analytics, and only with your consent as described above.

How to manage your preferences

You can review and change your cookie choices at any time by clicking Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Your updated preference takes effect immediately.

You can also clear all stored data by clearing your browser's local storage for still-good.app. Instructions vary by browser — look for "Clear site data" or "Local storage" in your browser's developer tools or privacy settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. If we add new categories of storage that require consent, we will increment the consent version and show the banner again. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
